Where to start?

Well this is the first piece in ages that grabbed me, and didn't let go. I haven't been to bed yet, and i'm still getting over a cold. But when your muse takes you, you follow without much question.

First- the pencil drawing. Started in late 08' and finished it up tonight. I did a strange thing and went to the adjacent page next to it to finish up the image like a mad-girl. I typically hate doing that [due to smudges over time] but this image screamed an additional vertical plane.

Also, i've been trying to couple characters again in my sketch book. I wanted to go back to Satan and GG - since it's so fun to draw GG pissed and ready for action, and that Sonofabitch, Satan, being so smug is fun.

hmm, i know i wanted to say more... but my brain is slipping.


but i haven't been so content with an image in so long. AND my hands seem to be doing "ok". [there is minor pain] -I have a renewed hope that maybe i can get past this carpal tunnel thing, and get back to work on my comic. Which has been depressing the hell out of me. Actually NOT doing art has depressed me greatly. I figured if i keep trying at it, i could renew my spirits, and possibly be ready to work again. Best not to push it too much.
