So I went to visit my mom yesterday and I caught both Addams Family movies (played back to back.) I didn't realise how VERY adult and DEVIANT the humour is in those movies. I love it! ^^;; (I always felt weird when they played the MC Hammer version of the theme.. it just seemed so out of place.. and ..trendy. >_< Still comes off cheap... i supose somebody thought that was a good idea.. : /)

Anyways I just couldn't get Chritina Ricci/Wednesday out of my head. Just a wonderful character (and actress)! I remember loving Wednesday alot when i was a kid (well same age as her... :P ) and thought she was so pretty, and how i always wanted to have dark raven hair like her. Anyways so i planned that i'd start a lil picture based on her when i got home. ^^;

So no refference used, just my memory of that day. I really needed this image as i've been feeling low about my art work.. and right now thats not good, cause i need to be doing more of that very important project (i have to clean it up, and fix it now. >_< ) Actually i've just been feeling pretty low as of late.. Sure i hated this picture at first and gave up totally last night.. but today i worked at it, and started getting into a groove. (EDIT:i take it back.. the more i look at this image, the more i hate it. >_< fuck. )

Anyways this pictures is for all you Wednesday/Ricci lovers, & Valentine's haters! Though I truelly do hope everybody has a great Valentines. If you don't have anybody, hangout with your friends in an anti-V-day party or celebrate your love for them. V-day just isn't for lovers you know? (least get yourself a box of chocolates!)

I simply love The Addams. And I've seen lots of fanarts inspired by Charles' characters, and yours look really, really, really amazing. You got Wednesday's feelings in just one image. I would love to have this as a painting on my bedrooms' wall. Petrified.
