Okay kids, you've heard me yammering on about how i'm doing the colors for Sullengrey right? Well here's a really good example of what i've been doing.

This hot little number is for the 1st Trade Paper Back of Sullengrey! Of course Drew Rausch [ ~dreadscape ] did the line art, and I did the colors in photoshop. This IS the cover of the book!!! (you should see the back cover, it's rather "bloody" sexy. Which, i also colored that as well.) Not only will this book feature all 4 issues of the first Sullengrey mini series, but it'll have new content such as a short story titled "fear" and deleted scenes!! And bonus- there are a couple interior pages by yours truly!

There's also a special edition that comes with a music CD to set the mood of Sullengrey for you.

okay enough whoring! on with some thoughts, shall we?

I'm rather happy how this one came out. The colors are lovely, Grey and Salem were just so much fun to really flesh out. And then i got to play with the negative spaces, and really do my favorite abstract things to the character art. You have no idea how fun it is to color Drew's stuff. ^_^ Imagine what you see here all through out a full 30 page comic- which is what i'm doing currently for the new Sullengrey series. I'm sure you guys will love our efforts, team Sullengrey is full of greatness.

Anyways.. i've been up for a long time, and i came in from Georgia today. So i'll end this here- and make a journal with more details about this. Please feel free to ask Drew about this book- and i'll try to answer all your questions as well.
