This is for all you in the closet Sally Acorn fans (or furry fans, what ever best suits your poison.).
I just randomly did this out of aviodence of actual work, an dthe fact i can't post an image i really want post on DA.
So why Sally from the ill fated saturday morning cartoon, or the comic that went to total crap? Well once apon a time me and my cousin Lindsay used to do Sonic comics of our own. Which we still swear by this day are better then what archie comics does, and we did that stuff when we were 10. >_<
So Sally was one of my faves that i drew.. and thats how deep this goes.
Prolly spent 5 minutes or less on this, but i think it came out rather well. Enough to stay on the main page for a few days before it heads over to my scraps section. (ugh i still hate that hand. >_< )
That's all.
Photoshop.
Sally is copyright of.. Sega of America, D.I.C. , Archie Comics, and anybody else that might own some bit of her.
I used to absolutely love the Sonic the Hedgehog comics. I have almost all of them #'s 1-50 in a box under my bed. Sally Acorn is the closest I ever came to having a crush on an anthropomorphic character.
i almost had 1-50 as well.. i think i droped off before 50 came.. but my cousin lin kept up to 50.. then it was all downhill from there. O_o
i still enjoyed the early Spaz comics.. man that guy was the best artist they ever had... then they destroyed him somehow.. i think they had 2 other OK artist.. and the rest all sucked... :_: so sad.
(i should post the Sonic AIDs series.. XD you might get a kick out of them )
Spaz was a fantastic artist. I absolutely worshipped his covers, and the few issues he did the art for always looked amazing. The way he drew Sonic when he got robotocized was one of the coolest robot designs ever. *coughplushemadeSallylookHAWTcough* I'm not sure what his work later evolved into, I'm almost glad I stopped reading after 50, it allows me to have untaintedly pleasant memories of the comic.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
