character- Good God. from-my comic, "The God Machine." media- photoshop. I've had a love hate relationship with this image. I was about ready to destroy it at one point. What you see now is me giving up on it. It still needs a lot of detail work that I just don't want to do anymore for the sake of potenally totally ruining the image further. I love parts of it, and can't stand my mistakes. (EDIT: after writing that I had to go back in and fix some things before submitting.. it looks better, but still not up to par with where I’d like it, but now I can deal with it more positively.) ANYWAYS! The pattern in the background comes from the ultra cool gothic wrapping paper we got at Target over the holiday weekend. Can you believe that, it's black and white wrapping paper!! And the black designy thing is fuzzy too! I was so in love with it when I saw it. Obviously I liked it enough to make a pattern out of it, which Jim ~MrMoldavia made it tile-able for me. Had 'the Devils' on while I started to do the preliminary steps of the image. (I ended up downloading the movie the other day, so now we can see it in wide screen, see some cut parts, while we wait for a DVD release.) -The point of bringing up this movie again is that it has that feeling of an old painting, or at least it brings to mind aristocracy/royal portrait paintings from the 1700's. I wanted to do something similar to that with Good God. Course I wanted to go opposite and have almost 75% white composition... you can see how well that worked out.. damn cool pattern! Speaking of royalty, I also wanted to portray GG in that very above it all type of portraiture of royalty, but with the feeling she may not be. The mystery of GG... Seems I keep making over the top clothing for GG as well. (You should see my sketch books, I mean I really get into it with the clothing designs.) It’s interesting to me that I’ll create very feminine-like clothing for GG but yet she is never quite overly female and still retains that very androgynous air about her. Course I try to make it a point that I put her in boots too furthering the idea of her not being a fragile girl. There are many reasons why I do this, but part of her personality is that she’s a klutz and can’t handle heels. XD Pretty soon you’ll get to meet her formally in my web comic, ~TheGodMachineComic, and you’ll get to finally see who she is (that is, if you haven’t read my God’s at a Con comics in my scraps.) She’s more then the architecture of being just “good” that’s for sure. I'll shut up now. -chan of fto work on comic stuff. |

Vision? What do you know about my vision? My vision would turn your world upside down, tear asunder your illusions, and send the sanctuary of your own ignorance crashing down around you. Now ask yourself, Are you ready to see that vision?
