Inspired by Mors Syphilitica's song, "My Virgin Widows."

I say inspired because I didn't follow the lyrics exactly. In fact this is my 2nd attempt at doing this image, and it's largely based on what I remembered from reading the lyrics, which are wonderfully narrative. (Which the lyrics to this song was a bitch to find, cause the CD didn't come with them.. and nobody's really interested in Mors Syphilitica, which that pretty much sums up most of the music I listen to, so sad.)
So I’ve been on a big Gothic music kick as of late. It complimented my new wave/ 80's alternative kick that proceeded it. Shamefully I only have a small selection of Gothic music (well it's not that small, but damnit if it could be bigger and broader then just the cliché Gothic groups.) Anyways I just recently added Mors Syphilitica to my growing library (had my Album shop order "Feather and Fate" for me.
I like supporting my local stores. 
) Might I say, it's a challenging album at first. I say challenging because it's not one of the A-typical sit down and easily get into albums, but one that requires you to listen to it more then once in a full sitting. (we don't like A-typical albums anyways.) But after you get past that, it's very heavenly and beautiful. It's also great to work to. ^_^ If you like ethereal Goth music, you'll love this group. (better then Cocteau Twins) Anyways i like them a lot.

Anyways this pic was a bitch to color. My biggest concern was to make it NOT look like the Corpse Bride. Sorry this dark little picture couldn't make it for October, but hey why does darkness have to end just because of a month gone by?
