and M.E. i eat dust
we're all so run down
i'd call it my death
but i'll only fade away
and i hate to fade alone
now there's only M.E.
we were so sure
we were so wrong
but there's no one left to see
and there's no one left to die
there's only M.E.
why shoud i care
why should i try
oh no, oh no
i turned off the pain
like i turned off you all
now there's only M.E.

You ask for hell, you get hell. I called upon the days of old, and got new information today.
Saddness, and anger have rushed over me.. and this image (and the horrible one before it) have soothed me.
AH! Art. It does wonders.
The hand is soo very fucked up.. but i don't care.. i needed this outlet.
Memories are hard to deal with.. and new relavations (if you could call it that) are even worse.
But thats life.
Media- pencil with photoshop touch ups.

EDIT: Minor edit, allowing critical comments, and added keywords. Known issues with drawing- the hand on the head.
For a cartoony beast which is on one level almost cute, it does a very good job of looking ominous at the same time. Makes me think of childrens book illustration.. A book for adults who enjoy scaring their children.

the hand doesn't bother me at all. i know i've said it before, but i totally think that your best work is in this style. the really scratchy pencil lines with photoshop touchups. this is a really strong piece, with lots of movement despite the hudled and stationary figure. there's a lot of gesture in that little demon ghost guy too! i think he turned out pretty great.
really nice use of these muted ugly browns and greens. i don't know i just think the whole thing really works. this is my favorite kind of work you do, and i think this is my favorite so far. nice work. i think everyone's felt like this at some point or other.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
