location- Oakland Cemetery, Atlanta Georgia.
date- Sunday, Sept. 9th 2006.
camera- Cannon Rebel XT; touch ups and effects in Photoshop.
I've been sitting on the photo for sometime now.
It was the day after Dragon*con, and me and Jim were waiting to hear from somebody we met at the con. So before we went to dinner, I took tons of photos of my favorite cemetery for reference for my comic (for a scene i'm about to do actually, hence why I got it out.) These are my favorite 4 graves- I dunno why i love them so, but there's something iconic about their arangement and structure.
Fun fact- On our way to our honeymoon, me and Jim spent the day in the Oakland cemetery back in 05'. This was our 2nd time back to this lovely landmark.
Ha wow! This looks fantasic! The ghostly blur around the graves is very groovy. And I can't tell if the lines are your doing or rain.

Wow! Simply adding the film grain (I think) and light blurs really made the picture stand out more. It's so haunting and gorgeous at the same time, I love it!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. Please read this article for more information on how you can participate!
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
