"Baby i'm ready to go."

There's a line that the Monarch says in "Victor. Echo. November." about Dr. Girlfriend having red streaky things in her hair like Saffron from Republica. As we know from season one he met her as Queen Etherea- soo I took both of those things to try to create my version of what she might have looked like.

What posed a problem to me was that her "Dr. Girlfriend/Jackie-O/60's" hair doesn't fit well with red streaks. It's unsuited to the style you would have with streaks- It's usually something outrageous and more modern. Since Saffron was from the 90's i decided to go directly with a style that's very similar to hers, and keep with a look that is very 90's rock star. Now for the Etherea costume to match up with such a faddy hair color and style, i figured she needed something flashy and totally contrast her outfit. So why not a vinyl coat? I think it's tres 90's...

(speaking of vinyl I saw Kim's pink shirt in a fetish shop not to long ago... not that i go to fetish shops.. *cough*)

Anyways, i started this image a couple of months ago (i've been working on it here and there.) It's not perfect to any regarde, but i needed it to be done and away from me before i destroy it with over-over-over working it. (i have a tendency to do so.

Anyways~

Busy bee Chan am i as of late. Lots of comic projects (I even just got a new gig! Go me... it's not official-official yet. I just got the heads up my pages were received well. So I'm fairly sure i got it.)
