character- Good God
from- my comic, "The God Machine."
media- photoshop.
I hadn't drawn for myself in awhile, and the wedding is around the bend (Complete with hurricaine for this weekend), so in attempt to calm my lil heart, I did this.
I have lots of work to do, and lots of wedding things to do. I can't wait til the wedding is over.. then it's art work related work only!
God damnit! I've made a comment about his one and dA went and gave me the "no such file"! Well, I'll try and write it again, I guess... I hope this time it will go throught. I'll do the crrl+c, just in case. So... here goes nothing.
I never thought GG was so skinny... I mean, you draw all your characters thin, but her back looks like nothing but skin and bones.
Anyway... I like the general idea behind this one... I like her hair and the background too...
I just thought I hadn't given you congratulations yet, and that makes me feel bad a bit... because you were so kind to leave some words back at my site and stuff...
So... (I don't really know what one's supposed to say in english on such occasions)... I wish you both good luck.

(maybe your monitor is too dark?) But yeah, most of my characters are pretty skinny, with some exceptions. ^^ but I tend to favor showing off abit of the spine when I get the chance to. : )
this is so beautiful. i love the deep red. awesome angle too. i've been trying to practice different angles...but that will take awhile. *sigh* that's right. you live in florida dont you? O.O what are you going to do? are you getting out of there? first i was worried about your stress...now i'm worried about your safety. T_T assure me that you will be alright!

Floirda, how I loathe thee! Well it seems it won't hit central Florida (what the reports say as of now.) But we will be getting bands from the storm still. I tell you, it's crazy shit.. i just want to get married next week... i don't want to deal with the mombo-jumbo that comes with a hurricaine (went through 3 last year.. we were sucessful!) This new apartemnet we're in survived those 3 hurricaines, so i'm not too worried.. just worried bout our power going off for a week or something.. which would be horrible. Nothing like preparing for a wedding in the dark.
on teh subject of different angles... It takes alot of knowledge of teh human form, and lots of real life study to really get it down, even I still have trouble with it and i've done alot of studies. Course i'm rusty with doing figures (bene out of school for abit now.) But it's something you have to keep up with, and really know if you want to do this kind of stuff, (if you want to do it teh right way, by yourself) course there's always picture refference, but i never use that. But it could help you learn some new angles.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.

But yes. Lovely angle, and I am awed by your coloring more than usual (and usually I'm awed quite a bit). But...
uff. I think someone needs to feed your characters.
